The cold weather could disrupt the Amersham teams' fixtures again this week, so please check before leaving.

Despite the cold weather Amersham & Chalfont Hockey Club hope to play their games, while football and rugby games will most likely be postponed again
HOCKEY:
Amersham & Chalfont Hockey Club will be hoping the Astroturf pitch at Newlands Park will be playable as the club's men's and women's 1sts have important league matches on Saturday.
The men, who are in the potential drop zone in MBB&O Regional 1, entertain Bracknell who are just four points above them in the table. Pushback is 12pm.
The women start at 10.30am at Newlands Park where they will welcome Three Counties League Premier 1 strugglers High Wycombe 2nds.
Last weekend hockey was one of the few sports to beat the freezing conditions because of the all-weather surface most games are played on.
Amersham men's 1sts beat Oxford 3rds 2-1 thanks to two goals from Warren Scott, while the women's 1sts lost 5-2 to Oxford University 2nds.
FOOTBALL:
Amersham Town FC are scheduled to entertain fourth-placed Langford at Spratley's Meadow on Saturday.
However the freezing conditions means the match is likely to be postponed, as was the Magpies' clash away to St Albans City Reserves last weekend.
Amersham Town are currently second from bottom in Spartan South Midlands Division 1 with just five successes from 27 starts.
RUGBY:
Amersham & Chilterns RFC's prestigious Bucks Cup final with Buckingham RFC on Saturday has been postponed until Saturday, February 25.
Last weekend's matches were called off because of the freezing conditions which means that visitors Buckingham have to now play their league match against Swanage on Saturday.
Amersham 1sts have no match, although there is due to be a 2nd XV game at Weedon Lane versus Luton 2nds, kick-off 2pm.
Comments
Both the rugby and football this afternoon have been postponed.
