The freezing cold weather looks set to cause havoc with this weekend's sport fixtures.

Hard and freezing pitches mean it's unlikely Amersham & Chiltern RFC and Amersham Town FC will play this weekend
The plummeting temperatures and the possibility of snow mean games for Amersham Town FC and Amersham & Chiltern RFC could be cancelled tomorrow.
A spokesman for Amersham & Chiltern RFC said today (Friday): "I think that it is highly unlikely that the games will go ahead, as the pitches are well frozen and the forecast is for more frost and snow tomorrow. However, I expect that a final decision won't be made until early tomorrow morning."
FOOTBALL: Town FC are looking to put last week's 5-1 mauling at the hands of leaders London Colney behind them. However they can only do that if the Hertfordshire pitch is in a playable condition tomorrow when they are due to face St Albans City Reserves.
The two teams drew 3-3 in their first clash earlier in the season at Spratley's Meadow.
Eight-placed St Albans go into the match off the back of a hard-fought 1-0 defeat to Welwyn Garden City.
RUGBY: Amersham & Chiltern's clash with Redingensians at Weedon Lane tomorrow could be postponed because of a frozen pitch.
Amersham lost 20-7 to Chippenham last weekend, while high-flying Reds were surprisingly beaten 22-26 at home by Exmouth.
Check games are still on here or with the clubs tomorrow before you don your supporters scarves and hats.
