RESULTS : LibDems take Amersham seat in 'interesting' by-election

The votes were counted - then recounted - and shortly after 11pm tonight (Thursday) the Liberal Democrats took the seat for Amersham Town Ward.
Vera Head MBE has taken the reins through by-election after the resignation of Tory councillor Ros Aitken.
The results are:
Vera Head (Liberal Democrat) - 286 (30.1%)
Andrew Fleming (Conservative) - 282 (29.7%)
Michael Hurley (UKIP) - 252 (26.6%)
Stuart Kelly (Labour) - 127 (13.4%)
