Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a property in Amersham Way, Little Chalfont was broken into overnight between the 26th and 27th November.

Burglars have gained access to the property while the occupant was asleep upstairs and stolen some jewellery.

Det Sgt Abbe Breen, leading the investigation, said: "Burglaries can be very distressing for the victims and we are working hard to find out who is responsible.

"Some of the stolen property had been discarded in Oak Field Avenue and so I would like to hear from anyone who might have seen suspicious activity in Little Chalfont, especially in the areas of Amersham Way and Oak Field Avenue."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Det Sgt Abbe Breen at Amersham police station via 101, or if you don't want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
