Beauty Box on the broadway should definitely be on your list. A friendly and professional outfit, in a great convenient location. Also the Lemon rooms on the High Street in Old Amersham offer a wonderful spray tan!

The new brow bar on Chesham Road in Amersham high street is something a bit different, and the American Star Nails on Hill Avenue is also the only nail bar so should be included, although other beauty salons in Amersham like Lemon Rooms do nails.

How much do you charge for coming to someone's house and do you do gel nails? What are silk wraps? Sounds interesting :)

Hi! It depends on what you want to have on your nails...ex. for gel extension with just a french manicure I would take 20pounds, basicly the more nail art you want the more expensive it will be.Nails created with silk wraps/fibreglass method looks very natural and thin.Wraps are pieces of silk that has been cut to the desired shape and glued to the nail plate. This adds strength, and sometimes length, to the nail..Interested:)?

Wow that's cheap and convenient, thanks for the info! The silk nails sound good - I've only had gel nails done once and they were quite thick and awkward. How much do you charge for silk nails with say a french manicure and how long do they last? Could you do a few ppl? Thinking of getting my sisters round for a girly day before Christmas :)

Silk nails are more expensive, that is because products needed are quite expensive, and it is 35 pounds for that.If you are doing lots of house works/garden works I wouldn't recommend silk wraps for you as it won't last for long, but if you have nice office job then it will last for long (every 2-3 weeks you need in-fillings). I'll be more than happy to do a few peopple at a time, just let me know when asap as I have to arrange a day off also what would your sister like to have done on their nails so I can stock up and how many ladys will be there:)

Silk wrap nails are really natural looking if you get them one by someone experienced. But you do need to be careful if you want them to last - no gardening!

Thanks that's very helpful! Will make arrangements and get in touch on your email. Good timing now as little gardening to be done with winter so close! ;)
