"Services for children and young people in Buckinghamshire are among the best in the country according to schools watchdog Ofsted.
The annual performance assessment found ‘children's services in Buckinghamshire perform excellently’, and ‘the very large majority of services, settings and institutions inspected by Ofsted are good or outstanding’. For children in care, the large majority of children’s homes are ‘good’ and fostering and adoption agencies are ‘good or outstanding’.
Nationally, only 20 authorities were judged as excellent which means Buckinghamshire is in the top-performing 13% of authorities in the country for children's services."
