South Buckinghamshire RSPCA appeal for rabbits to be re-homed
Could you re-home a rabbit? The South Buckinghamshire Branch of RSPCA is looking to find homes for as many as 76 rabbits.
All the carrot loving creatures are currently with fosterers but branch workers are staggered that there are so many bunnies this year.
Amongs the wide range of rabbits are a Abbie and Darcy, both two years old and without ears. It is not known why they lost their ears but staff say that they are very friendly little bndles of fluff.
Staff say that there has been a huge increase in the number of rabbits coming into RSPCA care this year. In early December they had 76 and 18 of these were babies. The wide aray of rabbits have either been allowed to roam free after being abandoned by their owners, or they have been handed to the RSPCA when their owner’s can no longer cope.
Take a look on www.southbucksrspca.org.uk and if you're interested in rehoming a rabbit please contact Heather on 01494 863009.
