Two men charged with burglary in Amersham

Two men have been charged by police in connection with a burglary in Amersham.

Brian Loughran, 39, from Brantwood Road, Luton, and Patrick Ward, 53, of no fixed abode, were each charged with one count of burglary and appeared at Aylesbury magistrates' Court on December 21.

Both were remanded in custody and to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates' Court on December 29.

The charges are in connection with a burglary at a house in Chestnut Lane, Amersham, at about 5pm on Monday,  December 19, where offenders forced their way into the property through a rear ground floor window.

Nothing was stolen.
