Two people arrested on suspicion of murdering 7 week old baby in Amersham

An ambulance was called to a property in Pear Tree Close, on the evening of Saturday 22 October, to treat a seven-week-old baby girl who had stopped breathing.

Tragedy struck in October when a seven week old baby in Amersham died after being rushed to the Stoke Mandeville hospital for non accidental injuries.
The baby was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and later transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, but sadly died on the evening of Monday 24 October.
A Home Office post-mortem examination was carried out, which concluded the baby died from non-accidental injuries.
Yesterday (1/11), a 29-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder. They have been released on bail until 6 February 2012.
