The Boot and Slipper pub in Amersham is a family friendly pub that does pretty good food. There is a lot of space and you also just go for a drink, but it has certainly become more foody now that Chef and Brewer are running things. Well worth a visit.

A fab party venue and watering hole!
A lovely and spacious pub in Amersham with private parking off the main road. We had a 50th birthday in their private area, no charge - just a reasonable minimum spend for the group that we covered easily with mains, deserts and a few bottles of wine on the tables. It was very easy to organise as guests could simply go to the bar and top up once the table wine had finished. They also allowed us to decorate the room, bring a cake that we made at home and brought us plates and cutlery to complete the celebration - a very considerate manager, thank you!
